Sponsoring creates a CARING AND AFFECTIVE LINK
BETWEEN SPONSORS AND CHILDREN. Beyond the mere
financial contribution, cooperation from sponsors is a very
important form of support for children, whose self-esteem is
enhanced when they feel the closeness and affection
of people who care for them, even if from afar. This, in turn, prevents in many cases their dropping out of school, a very common phenomenon among the disadvantaged populations of India.
Sponsoring promotes GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT in vulnerable children through Development Projects that insure respect of children’s rights, and imply a direct and lasting benefit for their families and communities.

I feel trust in all of the staff that participates in the Project - this will allow the children to grow in a warm atmosphere and feel really cared for, with all of what this word means for me – love, protection, education…), and, as my grandmother used to say, “that they may become good and worthy people”.

This summer I came to know the work of the people of this organization, and I didn’t have any doubts about sponsoring a child. Now, we are happy to sponsor Ravi.

I feel very close to Gauri, maybe because she’s in my heart. I am glad to know that she has the chance to belong to a big family that nourishes her physically and emotionally every day.
